Recently, in conversation with a friend I hadn't seen in many a moon and inspired by Danielle LaPorte at White Hot Truth, I responded to "how are you?" with my passionate truth, "I am On FIRE!" My life is rockin' and I'm loving it. Solstice energy? Renewed health? Owning Choice? Freedom? Any and all - keep it coming.
Truth is, this season - the beginnings of winter - usually tear me down, pull me into longing for hot summer days and late luxurious nights. Craving warmth, light I enter a depression. This winter only faint echoes, minuscule compared to the fire of transformation rolling me along. Choice in my life enables me to be present to the beauty and magic of this season.
Deeper Truth is I have worked crazy hard this year. I made desperately hard choices (including ending the best relationship I've had), faced long-time fears and walked the desert burning for Truth.
It paid off - as you can see by my accomplishments of the past year:
My sabbatical walking the desert burning for Truth was both work and reward, a catalyst for my growth in the latter part of the year.
I nearly doubled my income in the last 6 months (and tripled it in the last 3 years). Counter-cyclical, baby.
I invested over $10k and hundreds of hours of time in personal growth and development through trainings and workshops in a broad spectrum of topics with amazing teachers who continue to influence me daily.
I advanced a Spiral Dynamics level, trading Green for Turquoise with a dash of Yellow for healthy sense of self and inklings of Coral pushing the evolutionary envelope.
A long, long time dream of a decade or more that seemed impossible in our cultural context is now very real for me.
...and best of all, 100% of the people I mentored this year got amazing results, even beyond what they wanted. Not only am I rocking my world, I am a catalyst to rocking it for others as well.
I am READY for a more fabulous New Year!
